IBM recently unveiled the world’s smallest computer. It actually is smaller than a grain of salt. What you see here is 64 motherboards with two tiny computers in the top-left corner. It has impressive computing power for its size. The computer costs less than 10 cents to manufacture, and packs several hundred thousand transistors according to IBM. This allows it to monitor, analyze, communicate, and even act on data. Specifically, this computer will be a data source for blockchain applications. It's intended to help track the shipment of goods and detect theft, fraud, and non-compliance. It can also perform basic AI tasks, such as sorting the data it's given.
